Xerox Color C60 smeared colors on page

Quick Customer Story we received this week.

We lease Xerox Copiers and Printers across the country. This particular customer has multiple locations across the country where they lease copy machines from us. This particular Xerox C60 copier is in their head office with their designers who print high definition prints.

Now that we have that out of the way – let’s being.

We are going to copy and paste the email chain here with commentary on how the issues were resolved. This was handled by our superior customer service team.

Subject: C60 issue

Hey Ben,

Hope you are doing well. We had an issue with one of our C60’s in the New York office. This morning it said that all 3 color drums needed to be replaced. All at once and out of the blue. We replaced all three and it printed fine for a bit, but now the prints are coming out bad. It looks like all the colors are smeared on the sheet. It is grainy like a dust and you can wipe it off with your finger. All of the colors are on the printed page. Also the drums have a large amount of the colored toner on them. I think we more than likely need a tech to visit ASAP. Attached are the photos of what we are seeing. HELP!!!

First – The drums are dirty and need to be cleaned. The customer just replaced them so they shouldn’t look like this.
Second – Because they just replaced the C60 drums, they don’t have their backup.
Third – A technician needs to come onsite.

At this point, behind the scenes, the Xerox service team begins to schedule the technician to come onsite. The ticket is sent to the technician for him to review and schedule with the customer. 12 minutes after the customer reported the problem, a service tech was scheduled and a backup supply order was placed.

Xerox Healthcare MFP 2.0 is the Best

Why?
The Xerox Healthcare MFP 2.0 solves 3 main challenges that most…if not all…healthcare providers are facing. The Healthcare MFP solution uses a secure, HIPAA-compliant software and powered by the Kno2™ communication software.

Identify the patient based on name, date of birth, or patient ID.
Store patient documents securely in the provider’s EHR system.
Share protected medical information (PHI) with other healthcare providers, securely.

How?
Actually, Xerox made this super easy. There are very little buttons to press on the Xerox and each one of the buttons pressable, is clearly labeled.
Xerox did a good job of making a picture to describe the current typical process vs. the Xerox Healthcare MFP 2.0 process. We are going to break down each process typically used for scanning documents in the Healthcare space.

Current Typical Process:
– Healthcare Provider retrieves physical copy of patient record or referral sheet.
– Healthcare Provider then has to send patient record with another provider using traditional fax.
– The faxed record then sits on the other providers fax machine, where it could be picked up mistakenly, lost, or paper jam.
– Possible repeat if lost or jammed.
– Then provider has to fax the record again.
– The record finally arrives and the provider now scans the document to create a digital file.
– Nurse / admin then takes this scan document, add’s the patient demographics to the file, and then attaches the documents to the patient’s chart inside on the EMR/EHR system.

Wow..there’s a lot of steps there that could definitely cause delays or even errors.

The new Xerox Healthcare MFP 2.0 process:
– Healthcare Provider retrieves physical copy of patient record or referral sheet.
– Nurse / admin scan’s the record using the Xerox Share Patient Information App on the copy machine.
– Nurse / admin pushes the button to send the record to the recipient provider using Direct exchange.
– Recipient provider receives a digital file in their online queue, receives the item into their EMR/EHR, or receives the document as a fax (if they didn’t setup their account with the National Health Care Administration database)
– Recipient provider then moves/checks the file on the patient’s chart in their own EMR/EHR.

Some newer toners may be crafted рurеlу frоm carbon роwdеr. But the vast majority of toners are mixеd with роlуmеr. this is because that as technology advanced scientists did their thing and made toners more efficient. Both оf thеѕе ѕubѕtаnсеѕ are suspected tо bе hаrmful tо thе environment (who really knows why the earth wobbles anyways) whiсh iѕ whу you should lеаrn how to rесусlе with Xerox toners.

Super simple/quick history of Xerox

STEPS
– To ѕtаrt the rесусling рrосеѕѕ, уоu ѕhоuld firѕt rеmоvе thе tоnеr frоm your Xеrоx printer.
– Quickly (or slowly) rерlасе the empty toner with a nеw toner and use thе included (hopefully) packaged sack to old your еmрtу tоnеr. Sometimes this sack is included because yоu nееd tо wrар thе tоnеr bеfоrе уоu рut it in thе bоx. These toners can still leak dust and that dust makes a mess. Containing the dust, makes recycling people happy. If you don’t have a sack, yоu саn uѕе plastic wrар оr a trash (rubbish) bag (sack). We like to use plastic grocery store sacks.
