…that has created brilliant new possibilities that would benefit all printers, print buyers and designers. It is a great technology to have if you dabble in specialty printing, and this technology enhances your designs, by providing you with the freedom of adding and experimenting with four new and high-quality CMYK Plus enhancements to your print. You can use this technology only with the use of the C60/70 printers, and guarantees to provide your prints with an alluring edge over the work of regular specialty printers.

Some of the enhancements that you can enjoy while utilizing this technology include the use of glorious gold, attractive silver, use of white layers in versatile manners, and the ability to create clear and elegant accents. You can easily include this accessory to your CMYK printer at any time, while being able to flexibly print in clear, print in white, print in gold, and print in silver.

In order to use this technology, Xerox has enabled the ‘Fiery digital print server’, available in Xerox C60/70 printers to be able to accommodate the enhancements. You can simply update this technology into your Xerox C60/70 printers and it will enable the software to distinctly recognize and interpret different spot colors or the different additional channels that are common in files that have created with the purpose of Advanced CMYK Plus printing in mind. The software update will therefore accommodate channels that include clear, white, gold or silver as distinct parts of it. It is important to note that the update is supportive of all spot colors that have 100% opacity. However, Xerox has clearly stated that the same cannot be guaranteed for colors in the print that are not 100% opaque, which may include gradients, tints or shades.

Xerox is currently trying to upgrade on their present CMYK printing technologies and has made it clear that they want to expand the scope of this brilliant technology to other Xerox devices as well in the foreseeable future.
