Then you need to go to –
Advanced Settings

Change the Resolution to a higher resolution.
Try turning off Shadow Suppression.
Try changing the Image Enhancements

But if that still doesn’t work.
Go back and go to your Scan Presets and choose SIMPLE SCAN.
